I hate money, and therefore am considering buying one of these. Anyone with experience? Is the screen really big enough to support 4 partitions? What is the power draw like? Any insights are appreciated.

I just got one, looks plenty big enough for sure. I'm told the power draw is about the same as the big Helix models. It will be a portion of a one-boat network installed on my new boat this Spring. Can't wait to get it planted on the new Lund Renegade!

Steve, does the 19" Apex fit on/in console? Saw a few pics but they were all of it mounted on "off-shore" salt water boats. I won't be buying one but given the quality of my Helix Mega DI/SI I am sure it will be a really nice unit.

| The 19 is overkill on a smaller ride for sure. I have the 13, and it's huge, going to eat the console mounting capacity of the new Lund Renegade for sure. A Mega 9 and a Mega 7 are going on the front.
Apex 13 next to Helix 7 for reference.

Figured out a cool thing I will do this year with the Apex, a power source, a camera switcher, and a Sony camera. Live feed going from full screen mega 360, mega live, and the sony, streamed from a Toughbook laptop. Beats heck out of trying to film a sonar screen and will be especially fun chasing schooling fish.
