Location: Minnesota | Hello!
Not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but I'm curious as to what everyone is looking for when heading out to the shows that have already started or are starting soon. Any new bait or item specifically that caught your eye?
Just looking for things to check out when I'm at the Minnesota show here in March.
Thanks. |

Location: Walker, MN | I'm usually most impressed with the Supernatural Baits, and the never-ending patterns that Musky Innovations puts out. Kodiak baits (When they don't sell out immediately). I try to look at everything, and talk to everyone I can. I don't always buy a whole lot, but love to admire all of the craftmanship. I typically just replenish the same old baits we've worn out in the past year, and pick up a couple of new patterns too. |

Location: Twin Cities Metro | If it's something I can get at Thorne, TRO, Blue Ribbon, or the Musky Shop, I just get it from them. What I like to shop around for at the shows are things that are new, innovative, and/or hard to find. I won't know what it is until I see it. That's the nature of "keeping up with the Joneses" in an area with 10 muskie lakes and 3.7 million people. |

| I always spend time checking out the small guys that market their baits online or thru shows. They can sometimes be pricey and don't have large inventories but their workmanship is incredible. |

I went to a show right before the pandemic and had bought a rod and some name brand lures before I saw some handmade wood lures, that were great. But, I had already hit my limit for spending and told myself I would get them the next year. Which didn't happen. Going to Wausau this year, hoping they are back. |
