I have a 2014 big nasty that broke on a hook set recently and need to warranty it. Does anyone know if you are able to replace it with a different model LT? I assume there may be an added cost of some sort? Thanks for any info

I'd contact St Croix directly instead of asking random people on the internet.

Hey there Jeff, I would but, it’s a Saturday and they are closed for the weekend. So, I figured in the meantime I would ask if anyone had experience with that. So thank you for your insight it was very helpful and not a waste of time at all

Yes. You can switch it for a different model. If the big nasty is still the most expensive model in the lineup then it won't cost you any extra.

Go online to stcroix.com look under warranty. You will have you fill out a form take some pictures and there’s a $50 fee for shipping and handling on a replacement rod. I just had a warranty claim in September

Call the customer service department and ask for Deb. She is great and will get you squared away.
