| Looks like I'm going to fish later into the fall than usual and chase the whitefish spawn. I have heard horror stories about Ulterras freezing up. I typically keep the shaft clean and apply silicone a couple times a year. Heard one guide say they carry a couple thermos of hot water to pour over the unit if it freezes up. What do you guys suggest. | |

| Make sure it is on the quick connect bracket?
I've used mine into December and not had an issue....yet. But that day is out there. No doubt. | |
