haven't tried it myself but long time reef hawg guys say,,buy the 12 incher and cut it down to 8 inches and space hooks accordingly and you will have a hawg that runs like the original ones.

Tom Gelb used to cut down, I believe the 8” reef hawg, he would tell me.
Once you weight the reef Hawgs properly, they all come to Life…

Propster… I am but I am not lookiing to pay retail since I’m going to cut and repaint them . I understand if that doesn’t do anything for you

Location: Brighton CO.		I have some customs with screw in weights all factory 8" I add weight. The 6" I leave them alone.
