Location: PA Angler		So far the biggest that I know of is a savage gear line thru. Can get some pretty big bull dawgs or Medusa.

Location: Brighton CO.		Well pulled the dusty rod tube out of the rafters along with my rod (hasn't been used since fall of 2018) and to my surprise it's a 9ft. XH not XXH I guess I have my answer. No lure weight stamped on rod. This rod throws pounders with ease. Should I get a XX ??? I'll be 62 in October maybe just get some longer Red Octobers. And thought I had some rod sleeves in my tube ?? Can't find them I guess I have too much stuff.

for what it's worth I threw pounders, big suzies and a very large custom thing all on a nine foot Pred in xh...zero issues
