| In my case I broke 2 of them one last season(older HMG) one this season (new)HMG and I snapped the reel seats on both.I do fish alot and palm but have had poorer then average preformance on the Musky rods.Cannot say enough about the Walleye rods though, I fish a half dozen of them flawlessly.
p.s.-They do replace, if that helps! And I broke a 7`0 & 7`6"

| I have the 6'3 model and can say I prefer my St. Croix rods. I also have a couple of the Maina rods from Bass Pro. I would rate them in the middle. The biggest plus if I remember correctly is the Fenwicks have a pretty good warranty on them. Fenwick a few years ago was bought out by Berkley. I don't know how this has effected the quality of their Newest rods. | |

Location: Wales Wi. | I have 2..a 6.6" and the 6.3" both heavy action..the 6.6" snapped the tip off casting (might have been a line wrap) and the 6" I never liked much.they seem to break easy and I retired them both. A dealer gave me a deal on them for 40$ each..I guess you get what you pay for.

| I have 2 Fenwick 7 footers, love them both. Excellent versatility for casting. Prefer their action to similar St. Croix. | |
