| Saw the final results for the PMTT this past weekend. Seems like a good number of fish. But could not find any information about how many teams participated. Anyone know? |

Thanks, had seen the results on the MF News tab, just curious about the number of boats. 105 boats seems like a pretty good number but don't know what they normally get. |

Location: SW Ohio | There were a few trail teams that dropped out including Keyes and Schaeffer. Been fishing with PMTT for the last 6 years or so and Cave has never had a full field of 125. Came close, though. Water level was normal this year and getting very clear. Many of the fish were from Scott's Creek or the flats. Some were caught jigging. The weather on Sunday was absolute crap, causing an hour delay at the start. High winds, big waves, sideways rain and lightning greeted us all that were on the water early. Another big storm came through later in the morning with torrential rain and more lightning than earlier. The weather was beautiful by the time we got off the lake a 1pm and for the drive home.

Sunday does sound awful and the kind of day where if you were not in a tournament, would find something else to do. |

It’s like the Ringo Starr song…ya got to pay your dues cause Muskies don’t come easy… Doing the math, assuming all 105 boats had two fishermen, each fishing 12 hours between Saturday and Sunday, the comes to 93 hours of fishing for each musky registered. |

Location: SW Ohio | ^^^ It was tough. We lost one trolling about 10:30 Saturday and never saw another fish. I think there was 5 solo fisherman but that won’t change the hours per fish much. Several other boats said they lost fish. The timing is right in the middle of the spawning cycle. Even though the lake is stocked, the fish don’t know that. The lake conditions other than the spawn were probably the best in quite a few years. |

| Are there generally quite a few guys who fish alone? |

Location: SW Ohio | A handful. I fished solo at Cave last year. Makes it tougher. One woman fished alone this year due to her partner not being able to make the trip. |

| About 10 years ago. Steve Gensen won the PMTT at Cave Run while fishing alone, when Keyes had a wedding. |
