Went to Piedmont Lake in Ohia for our annual birthday trip. Last year we got fish each day, this year, not so much. Our first day there was a tourney, couple dozen boats and only seven fish got. We got none. Water temps rarely in the low 50's, lots of fronts coming thru, it was a challenge.
We adopted the slogan, "If you're gonna be dumb you gotta be tough" and I got two for the tip. Had a chance at a real good fish and so help me, I froze up and did an Oh Wow instead of working the bait like I should. We saw fish all but two days of the six.
Still, at 68, for each of us to last the week without a physical therapist, it was a good trip. m

Sounds like a great tradition. Having an "oh wow" moment is one of the reasons wish for these dumb critters, isn't it? And a really nice one in the pic.

Nice fish where is your grey hair? My hair will be white by the time I am 68!
