Finally figured out how to consistently make a curved lip "scattterrr" type lexan lipped resin bait. 9inch heavy thru wire resin bait with the hand cut and formed 1/8" lexan lip molded right into the resin and wired in before pouring. Just getting into painting, spray cans at this point. The frosty colored lip in the last pic is from me trying to clean it with acetone, isopropyl works a lot better, disregard that. These things will wander a good 10-12 feet side to side and they will actually turn left and right and wiggle while they wander instead of staying head on and just moving left and right. Is this something people might be interested in? I sure am excited to put em to work.

Yep, that was the only time I used acetone. Won't do that again. Just a test bait, no harm.

That is very cool! I’m from Belgium and here I only know of one factory-made lure that has such a lip and that one has caught me a lot of zander (similar to walleye) and pike. It’s called the Salmo Whacky 14cm. I can imagine what a larger sized model would do for catching trophy fish! Well done!
