I was looking for some recommendations on a decent resort/lake in northern Minnesota for some fun fishing options (bass, pike, walleye, panfish) that also has Muskie (for me). Taking a family trip that I can entertain everyone with. I have 1 place that I have gone to in the past just wanted to expand a little. An overall numbers/action opportunities with just a nice / average cabins. Many in here have traveled/exampled more than I have and I appreciate any advice/ideas. Thank you.

If you thinking bigger lakes, my favorite lake is Leech, and second would be Vermilion. Oodles of places to stay on both.

We stayed at McQuoids Inn on Mille Lacs Lake. Real nice place, good guide, good restaurant.
Mille Lacs may not be 'northern' enough, but it has all the species you are looking for. m

Spring Bay Resort on Vermilion. Great bass, walleye, and panfish, and muskies are present with a chance for a biggun.
