got an undertaker thats bare bones....... any idea to paint it would help, also what paint do i need ot use and with what tools thanks later

Brian,

You can paint the lure with just regular spray paint like Krylon or Plistikote. Not sure what kind of water you fish, but for your first time I would dtick with 2, maybe 3 colors. For clear water you can make a white belly, black back. Maybe add a little silver on the sides and just a touch or red on the throat. For darker water you may want to get suggestions from some other people. Don't fish a lot of "dirty" water. Perhaps florescent yellow and a touch of black for contrast.

You can also add a scale pattern by wrapping the lure with a laundry bag and lightly spraying the scale color over the top of your base color. Don't spray too much otherwise you will end up with an unwanted result!
