Suick usually has a booth at the Ohio Show, and their absence was definitely noticed. I found the story while nosing around the interweb..
As for "my neck of the woods", I left Chicago after high school pursuing a career, wound up down here almost 35 years ago, and haven't budged. The trip to the Northwoods used to be a family trip as a kid, becoming more infrequent as life got in the way. 20 years ago the dates once again became etched in stone on the calendar.

We have a little 3 cabin resort near us on the same lake and it is so good to see families once again coming up, kids on the water, in the water, etc. The family that owns it bought it about 4 years ago, fixed it up real nice and marketed it to families. With the pandemic, folks starting coming and loved it |
