done for the year

Sadly, I have to retire for the rest of the year. I can't fish the lake next weekend due to deer hunting closing the park and I'm afraid it could just get too cold after that, and espeically dangerous w/ an unstable boat in barely above freezing temps. Its been a great year catching and releasing 3 muskies in my first year. I probobly could not have done it without all the help from all of you at muskiefirst. Thanks a lot. I can't wait til next year.

The saddest day of the year is the day that I winterize. I refuse to do it until December. One more cast.....

Zach, why don't you check out sule or that other one you mentioned awhile ago. Neither is too far from you nor do they get rough. I usually have a storage place rented by now so I have a place to put it when I am done. With the weather the way it is I may fish untill the lakes freeze.

Todd, hopefully I can go to one of the lakes you told me of, but I really doubt it, nobody to take me w/ both my parents owning businesses. Although, with the weather seeming to not get worse yet, there may be another weekend. Its really hard for me to quit fishing, its going to be one tough winter.
