I don't know about the rest of you, but cabin fever is really setting in! With all the sport shows, and the lack of fishing has got me wanting to fish for muskies really bad. So, where is the closest water to WI that has a good March/April musky bite? Any water in Northern Ill. that is decent? I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting to get out!

I think for a march april bite Shelbyville or Kinkaid, but the Fox chain which is the only one in the north.might be worth a look to.

When I can't take it anymore, I will be hitting the Fox Chain, and any other N IL lake that is open. I am getting the fever BAAAAD! The Fox Chain won't be as busy early in the season, so it's not too bad. There are some nice fish in there as well.

Kid, the weather and water was much better last year at Cave Run than when you were down. Maybe give the Cave another shot? m

Anyone thinking about going to the Cave, should "just do it"

That is one great fishery. Anytine you can put 10 muskies in the boat in three days during our closed season is a "no brainer"

I don't have the time this year but will make it somehow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll be at Kinkaid in two weeks; although I don't know if that little teaser will cure the fever or make it worse!

I've never fished the Fox Chain even though I live 10 miles from it; however I'm going to give it a try this spring.
