MuskieFIRST visitors gathered on Sat 11-10 at White Bear Lake. We had 6 boats attend and fished for 5 hours. Lots of fish moving but only one was boated. Yours truly had a 35" fish engulf my Jerko 15 minutes into the day. Lot fish held up to enable me to take home a few unwanted baits. (Hey Lakewood make a bigger box) A gentleman by the name of Pat hooked into a larger fish (upper 40's for sure) near our boat with about an 1/2 hour left in the day but she threw the hooks as he bent for the net. We had water temps hovering near 50 degrees and very clear water. Almost all of the fish were moving on weed edges 12 ft+ of water. Glide baits moved the most but Pat's fish was on a Bulldawg.

We visited Decoy's bar and grill afterwards and enjoyed beverages, food & muskie talk after the fishing.

Most guys would like to try one more outing this year so watch the board for an update and come join in. Everybodys welcome with or without a boat!

Sounds like a very good time, Steve. I spent the day making Brats out of a doe that managed to get into the sight picture of Keith's bow. Had a GREAT weekend, relaxed with friends and family, played cards last night...and lost...
