Angler's Haven on LCO is one of the nicest resorts anywhere, and it is a fun place to stay. The used to make the best burgers in the Northwoods but now they make gourmet pizzas which are pretty good. Grindstone Lake is right there to fish as well, and the Chip and Round Lake are not too far away if you find the fishing on LCO is slow. There is also now a casino just down the road on the way to Hayward which has pretty inexpensive meals.

I will put in my vote for Back O Beyond resort on Teal lake. Great people, nice and quiet.

We have stayed at the Bucktail Lodge on Barker Lake and at the R & R Bayview which is right on the Chip. Both are clean and have excellent food.
