Ok, this is my next long weekend off and big break from the boat shows.
I have 2 options, go back to Kicaid and try for another winter fatty (Kly, wheres the pics from the last one??) OR head up to Minocqua and take one more shot at a 40" pike with JoMusky before pike closes end of Feb.

Leaning obviously towards the Kincaid trip, but have yet to find a willing partner.

Need to find someone that will give a solid committment so I can make plans accordingly.

since it's 10+ hrs, plans are to maximize fishing time by driving all nite straight thru on thurs nite...........fish until sun noon and come home.

My boat/truck (unless you got a diesel or something with better mileage), split driving time.

who's in??

p.s. would consider Evergreen or Shelbyville which is closer, but not sure if tey will be open.

shelbyville should be open with only the coves being iced in or half the coves iced in, but I dont think evergreen will be open pretty small lake. kinkiad would be your best bet that time on year.

Well it looks like the Kly, the little man on the fly has committed to going.(must have cancelled his date with his boyfriend for V-day)

Buckeyes and Muskyboy, you two should hook up and we'll all hit it together!

Heavens knows, I could use some back up when hanging out with Kly..he liked to give me a hard time about gettin outfished/outplayed and out challenged by a geezer! HA

I can and have no prob fishing 3, so if one of you cant make it, you can hop in with me.

Heck, lets make it an outing..lets get a few more boats!!

Come on lets GO!!

I'd go if it weren't for Valentine's Day, plus the fact that I'm heading that way the following weekend. My wife would never forgive me.

I would go, but, I'm not driving that far, to fish in february, to much of a trek for me, with the weather being to iffy.

Greg - How did Kly do with you last time? I bet he pulled a horse shoe out of his rear! Last time I was out with him we went to the big lake for kings in the harbor. He showed up with a rod, warm beer and no baits. We gave him of all things a Dare Devil and he was the only one that scored!

GregM, I may be able to go,if you have room.Looks like I may be out of a job soon. Parent company filed for chapt 11 bankruptcy. I agree.winterization is way overrated. Live in Pewaukee, pick me up on your way down? Let me know. thanks, Mark Sankey
