Firstly, many thanks to the guys who responded to an earlier thread of mine re: my website.

So, it appears I may have to bite the web server bullet. Any advice or tips to share as to what I should be looking for. I want to keep my costs as low as possible as it's a new business and I'm not independently wealthy.

Many thanks,

I run my own marketing and sales consulting company, and I have used Interland for hosting. I just worry about reliability and cost. My site is www.stevecrookconsulting.com if you want to take a look, and I think my montly host cost with the weekly reporting I requested from Web Trends is about $123 US per month. I do IT consulting so I can help you with site design if needed. Please email me at [email protected] if you need help.

If you want to spend time and do the editing or learn how to write HTML, you can get away with $6 per month with Tripod. I use it for my site and $6 gets you plenty of bandwidth. However, I tried to use the site builder/editor and didn't like the limited options so I bought a book and learned how to write HTML.

Out2llunge,
I would look to be hosted by a company that is connected with a lot of other musky related businesses. One such company is the Outdoor Network, they host many of the musky tackle co's,guides,lodges,etc..They also interconect between each other with many doors for clients to reach your website.Give Gary & Julie a shout at http://www.outnetwork.com/
Steve,I hope it was ok to post this here,my thinking was your not in the web hosting business and he asked the question of where.
