I was out in the driveway this afternoon, and asked my son to help me cover and winter ready the 1760...Then saw the weather!!

It is going to be in the 50's from Friday all the way to Tuesday. Gotta hit the water! Anyone else heading North for the weekend? Where is the target lake?

I am going to either Deer or Bone or maybe Blake Lake hope to see some of you out on the water this weekend. Took a half day off on Tuesday andwent to Deer, partner and I had three on and lost them all. Guess thats why they call it fishing instead of catching.

I'm going to Green Bay on Sunday. It will be my first time trying for musky there. I sure hope the weather lets it happen. Sure is funny how I live in Appleton and that is the closest musky fishery.

Heading for the Namekogon this weekend, was there last weekend with no success, anyone with any ideas on where the fish are at on this body of water. Fished breaks with cranks and also pulled a big fatty sucker all day. Wanna catch a biggey.

Will most definitely be going up north this coming weekend, but the lake is still up for grabs. You see, my fishing partners have struggled this past season and may want to hit a numbers lake. They want to just tie into a fish. [:0]

Unfortunately I want the complete opposite and need to get into a monster so it may be a last minute decision. Either we'll be on some lake in Eagle River or Minoqua area. he,he,he...that should narrow it down.he,he,he.

catch ya later,
Krappie

Up north for me will be northern il. or southern wi. I have to put my boat in storage for the winter and I have not even called for a spot yet. I usually have to rent one in october just to have one when I put it away. I hope to be fishing till christmas at least. No end to the season down here in the flatland. Probalby hit either the fox chain, silver, pewaukee or one of the other ones in that area this weekend. Lots of discussion.[]

I just got back from fishing Namakagon for a month. If you aren't seeing them on breaks, look for balls of baitfish and troll over them. I did pretty will on days when breaks were not producing in the bay in front of the Loon Saloon. Lots and lots of baitfish along with a few fat muskie. The steep shore in upper lake is good too, break out the Fuzzy Duzzit over there too! Right now it seems finding baitfish is the key on Namakagon, and the baitfish have been on the move a bit...

Whatever happens this weekend you can be sure that it will be warmer then when we were in the Eagle River area a couple weekends ago. Here''s a picture of Slamr''s new aluminum sled from that weekend, some know her as Azreal.

JoMusky-

You don't have to go all the way to Green Bay for some good muskie water. You are very close to Shawno Lake, and the Cloverleaf Chain near Clintonville. Both are pretty decent waters. You are also close to Elkhart in Calumet County. And from what I hear the Wolf River Pond near New London is becoming a pretty good little body of water. I have some topos of the previously mentioned if you would like them.

Derek,
I'd be interested in those topos too. Give them to Jo and I'll make a copy for myself (he he hehh).

I'll be heading to RHINELANDER this weekend and doing a little lake hopping. Can only fish Saturday, so it will be crash and burn for me!!!!!!

Elkhart lake is actually in Sheboygan County, my mistake.
I''ll be out tomorrow either on the Wisconsin River or maybe to my favorite little lake in Marathon County.

I live in Green Bay. Heading up to Caldron Falls Flowage near Crivitz on Saturday. Had a couple of fish in the mid 40's up in the last couple of weeks. No hooks into them, but maybe this weekend. [:0] [:p] []

Last Sunday I caught a 40" on Caldron. It was on a sucker in 26' of water on a break of the old river channel by
Fischers Camp.
