I will be in Fargo ND from August 9-12th. Any good musky lakes in the western half of Minnesota within an hour drive? And anyone recommend a guides in that area as I won't have my boat?

Pretty sure Dave Williamson at Musky Stalker Guide Service is still guiding. Alexandria/Battle Lake/ Detroit Lakes areas.

Not sure about the hour drive part but you have lake Miltona and Lobster lake which are both near Alexandria. There are also some lakes in the Detroit Lakes area that could be worth checking out...Good luck!
