| Bizarre. Time to mad scientist it up and create muskie / lake trout hybrids so we can safely release them from extreme depths. |

Location: SE, WI. | This musky was caught outside Fox Point, just North of Milwaukee. A Friend of mine is buddies with the Charter captain.
The fish was suspended in 190’ OW. Was caught on 200’ copper wire pulling a Spoon. Captain said, Spoon was running 50’ down. SOOO....fish maybe 5-10’ under that I’m guessing? Anyways, this happens periodically from fish escaping Green/ Bay, or possibly the Menomonee River, as I have caught a ski from. There was also a musky caught in Kenosha this past spring. JD |

What an incredible morning of fishing, great group, good fishing with a limit of lake trout.
We added steelhead and coho along with releasing 6 lake trout after we reach our limit.
BUT….. the exciting part of the trip was a 36 1/2” musky!!! It was caught in 188’ of water on a 250’ copper line with a pro king spoon, I would love to know her history!!

There's been high interest and a push to put Muskies in the lower end of lake Michigan especially with the threat of Asian Carp entering the great lakes. It would not surprise me if it was an unauthorized planting. Not saying it is, just wouldn't surprise me.
