There was a thread awhile ago about ceramic coating boats, this pertains to that. I have a 1996 stratos 219 (19’3 x 92” beam ). This boat spent a few years on various pro walleye circuits, then spent the next 20
Or so on the Chippewa flowage, she has plenty of character marks. I have a good friend that owns a detail shop and specializes in ceramic coating and paint corrections. The “ceramic coat” post led me to approaching him about a correction and ceramic coat of my boat, which was still a decent 10 footer but needed some help.
I picked the boat up yesterday and I was extremely happy with what he was able to do with this old thing. Very very impressive. Hopefully the pictures I’m trying to attach show up. If anyone is looking for someone to make their boat look their best, he’s very resonable and enjoyed doing my boat were at the very top of Illinois basically middle of the state and I’d be happy to share his contact info. |

I can get a decent price out of it, then I start looking for a 620 or similar with the same type of rigging I have and I tell myself the old
