| Picked up mast and now looking at planner boards. Curious what brand of planner boards people like (pros and cons) for musky fishing set up? Do double boards or triple boards work best? Thanks! Jim |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Rytek marine boards are phenomenal and fold up the nicest I’ve seen for storage. They are double boards. |

Location: Walker, MN | I buy the 40" white wooden ones from Marine General...though I'm not currently seeing them on their website. I made a set of doubles using these too for big waves, though they are overkill in most conditions.
There are a lot of plans online for making your own if you do some digging.

| If you own a circular saw its really easy to make your own set if you want to save a few bucks. |

| I have thought about that, but I hear that they can be a little tricky to get then to run decently. I would also like them to be able to fold down for storage. I was looking at the plastic Riviera's or Cannons but unsure if they will pull hard enough for bigger musky baits like headlock and Mattlock which are popoular here in MN. |

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | Rytek marine large planers are what you want. They were designed to pull lead core lines of more than 300 ft per rod. |
