Location: E. Tenn | 9651 is a short shank, 8651 is an "xtra short" shank. |

Location: Canada | Thanks. It's weird: the VMC site and catalog says they're both "extra short" shank. The only difference I can find in the descriptions are that the 9651 has more coating options. Maybe it's a misprint. |
