| I've never seen any mention about fishing for muskie's at night in the fall. Is rigging a sucker effective? Trolling? | |

| Hey Derek
My number one reason for not fishing at night in the fall is temps,it gets mighty cold when the old solar disk sets at night, and if you've been fishing all day ,a warm building is a great place to be and a smart cocktail adds to the warmth.
I have fished for a while after sunset but never had any luck, you would think that this would be the time to do it ecspecially on lakes that have cisco's, since they are known to move up at night and spawn .

| I've had good luck fishing the EARLY morning. Seems the cisco are exhausted from swimmin' the shallows all night and the muskies pick off the half dead one's attempting to wiggle back down the breakline exhausted from courtship. Not exactly a feeding frenzy... but a good opportunity.
I hope it works tomorrow morning. I'll be on the water at 4:00 am sharp.
