Good afternoon all ,

Spotted my first musky by Wingra Creek Dam yesterday which was very unusual because they don't come to their spawning grounds until 55-60 degrees range. Water temperature is at 41 degrees right now. Should be fun seeing them jump over the dam in few weeks.

probably some good current with the snow melt? Muskies seam to have a thing for moving up and down creeks with current..even when spawning isn't on their mind.. lots of lakes I've fished over the years have spots turn on after several days of rain ...spring, summer or fall...I can remember one July on a small creek in Canada and there were multiple muskies headed to a connecting lake after multiple days of hard rain, it was very interesting. Caught a 47" there...wheels started to turn, made a 20 mile run to where I knew a large creek dumped into the main lake..caught a 50.5" there.
