Any of you seasoned Muskie anglers know what these are called? I found them in a attic in Hayward. The wire harness can be easily taken off and used on the other. Glass bead for a stop. Smaller bait a nail used to fasten the eye.

Wish I knew! Really interesting design. Almost looks like some one off home made ideas, but I'm not sure.

Right. Very interesting. I'm guessing when a fish hit it the wire harness broke away from the lure and the wood body would float up?

I do think they have some age on it as the home was very old and not been occupied in a very long time. The tackle box I found them in had a old fishing license from 1968. Not sure if that is the era of the lures.
