Location: Kentucky | What's going on guy's! I'm needing some professional opinion's on you all's favorite glide bait's. I would prefer some of the smaller one's if you would, say the 6-8 inch range. I really like the hang ten manta's, but that dang thing weigh's 6 oz's! I guess I am looking for something that is easy to work and has some awesome hangtime. Also if they are not in the rollie and helen's catalog, please tell me where I would find them. Thank's guys! cpr Chris |

Location: Greenfield, WI | Being that I always have held Theedz as a role model, I agree with the Undertaker, as the glidebait of choice! I have been successful with it from opening day to late November. There are only two things that are needed to be successful with an Undertaker, 1) water, and 2) muskies!

| I also like the Undertaker, but if you already know you like the hang ten Manta, but are looking for a glider in the 6-8" range, why not just go with the smaller 8" Manta? |

Location: Racine, Wi | I would also go with the undertaker. I finally used that bait this last season, and it is the easiest glider to work that I have. You can get it to hang in the water and you can rip it in fast I learned this fall and get some great action. I will be looking for other gliders this show season to try out this year, as I know there are lots of good baits out there.

The Nitro comes in three sizes and has a weight and size you will feel comfortable with .Great action and quality components.Type in H2o tackle on a search engine and you should find it.Roger is an excellent lure designer and has a few other designs on the site you might find interesting |

Reef Hawgs, look at each in the package and make sure all the hardware lines up. Also only get the ones with the bigger head (most new ones should be this way)

Location: north central wisconsin | I love my 6" Reef hawgs for sure!!! For a true glider though, the Nitro from H20 is awesome. I did very well on it in 2003, and plan to do better in 04 with the new models I got. Phantoms are really cool too, and I netted a 50.5"er in October for my cousin who was tossing one. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Undertaker Slammer Drop Belly Wabull H20 Reef Hawg The Undertaker has produced VERY well for me over the last few years. It is a bait that takes some learning to run. Treats, let me show you how to run that thing on the water this coming year. If after a few minutes you can't get them to perform then I will buy them from you! I can use one in a blasting wind, average chop, or in the calm. I can make it dance on top, glide just under the surface, or dive several feet. Never have had one I couldn't make work, but some are better suited for 'the dance' than others. Ask Theedz, those things are versatile. The Slammer is a no brainer work every time producer. The Wabull is a kick fanny new glider that will also confound some folks because it isn't really designed to just twitch back and forth. Up, down, side to side and across the top, it is a great lure. H20 makes some really nice gliders. I produced a BUNCH of big pike and some pretty good muskies on them last year. Reef Hawgs are a standard for me in the fall. Same deal, can drive you nutz if you are not patient in learning the lure's balance. Every one is different, and every one will catch fish. There are many more brands that command a cast or 2000 during the year.

| I would go along with the Undertaker and also the Reef Hawg, both have been good to me over the years.
Last year I tried the Drop Belly Glider from Slammer for the first time and fell in love with the bait. It had a nice glide with lots of flash.
Was my top producer last fall. |

Undertaker

Treats, whats wrong with having to work them fast and on top? One of the biggest fish I have ever had hit was in 2-3 foot waves working it as a jackpot. I think one of the great triggers of the bait is it pops out of the water, and then dives down a foot or two. Makes a great sound when doing this. Send all your undertakers my way!!!

| Phantom Jerkbait for side to side action. Great flash and paint.
Undertaker for a smaller glide, roll, shake.Great to work slow with "hang" time.
Wabull for a larger dive and glide type action. Great to work slow with "Hang" time.
Reef Hawg for side to side plus roll and rise.
Jerko for side to side plus roll and sink.
Slammer Drop belly for drop belly side to side action.

Location: mount prospect illinois | I like the Jerkos alot they are 8". You can also look at the baby Jerko (5.5") it works great in the water. The Mantas a cool and the regular sized one is 8" as well. Good Luck. |

| The bait you'll see will swing 180deg and just hang there with a slight tap of the pole. The 4.5" is just slightly neg. and the 6.5" just slightly positive.

Location: north central wisconsin | That h20 in Steves picture is the Xglide. I've never seen a lure that can turn on a dime like that one. You can actually make that thing do 180's just popping the reel handle. Neat lure. Love the little and big Jerkos alike too. Both are very hot for me in the spring. |

Location: north central wisconsin | The Nitro from h20 is also offered in 6" and 7" models. And unlike many other lures of its kind, the small ones work in identical fashion(almost) to the larger ones. Very consistant from bait to bait too which is cool for a hand made lure. |
