Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | This may seem like a shameless plug, but really more wanted to give everyone who appreciates a good muskie rod to have a chance to take a look at some. Frank Bottiligeri of Frank's Custom Rods is going to have about 10 of his rods for sale at the Voodoo Tails (http://www.voodootails.com) booth, and if you want to see a well made, quality rod from a man who stands by his product, make sure to check out his rods. He built me a rod made to order to my specs (8'5" on a Diamondback blank, 12 guides, and a 13" handle, all what I wanted) and basically this rod works for me for just about every application beyond the heaviest gliders or the lightest bucktails. I'm hard on equipment, and have basically destroyed a rod from each and every manufacturer, but this rod has held up. Sorry to gush so much, but just wanted to give everyone a heads-ups to the chance to check out a high quality, professionally built product that I think others will appreciate also.
See you all at the shows and the swap meet!
*NO I dont pro-staff for Frank, and I bought my rod through him at full price. | |
