pro glass rod for jerkbait fishing
hey guys iwas wondering what you would think of usind a pro-glass rod for jerkbaits.
i know eveyone likes graphite for jerks but would glass help when you want to work slower baits? just wondered ,thanks karol

Glass could slow your reaction time down which could result in more hook sets. I would think it would be worth a try. I use a slow tip graphite St criox. Glass has great holding power I just don't like the added wieght that comes with it.

glass for jerkbaits requiring a sharp "snap" suck for obvious reasons, but I like it for cranks and some of the real slow gliders, but you have to get used to it because the timing is so different that graphite. Overal, I'd use cheap graphite instead, its a bit softer (a bit heavier) than the high modulus-high $ stuff.
