I like the fathom frame. Get a grey lens with a blue mirror for really bright days.

I have a pair of the Fisch with amber lens and blue mirror. Go to a retailer and try on different sizes to see what style fits you the best and feels the most comfortable on your head, that’s what really counts.

While I can't comment on Oakley or Costa bc I would never spend that much on glasses, even for my motorcycle lol I bought 2 pairs of strike king s11 that have done well for me at $30-40 a pair which leaves more funds for other gear

I run Costa's in:

Cut - silver mirror sunrise lens for lowlight
Jose - Green mirror copper my favorite for all around
Southpoint - Green Mirror amber

Costa's warranty got better recently with a management shake-up/legal issue, and they have been great to work with in terms of getting my glasses fixed. Just don't lose them. I prefer 580 glass lenses, slightly heavier but thwart scratching. I've purchased all of mine from Ebay from reputable sellers for large discount. Just be careful. If you shop around, can typically find the $279 pairs for half price or less.

I'd look at H3O's you get multiple lenses, I bought as backups..and now tend to wear more than my Costa's..

Definitely get a pair of H30s with the clear lenses for cludy/low light conditions. You could order the frame and lenses separately and save a few bucks too. Not sure if that's still the case, but worth a check. I use costa 580g in green mirror.amber base for regular conditions. Ebay saves you a lot.

Steep and Cheap has discontinued Costa's at good prices; https://www.steepandcheap.com/costa?sort=-discountpercent

I wear the Costa Fathoms. Mine are the old 400 series lens. Wife has the 580's in both her pairs. I've tried hers out and the only difference I can tell is that everything is clearer when looking through the bottom and sides of the lens as opposed to the middle.

Green Mirror/Copper Base: These are the best all-around, IMO. Not great at dawn or after sunset, but it sounds like you have that covered.

Blue Mirror/Grey base: Great for the brightest days. I mostly use mine for saltwater deep sea kind of stuff, where you need the protection from the sun and reflected sun off the water. They're not great in low-light conditions.

The fathom frames are the only frames I've ever found that stay in place and are comfortable around my big ass head all day.

for cloudy days or low light get a pair of H30s with the polar clear lense, you can buy a frame and just that lense on their site in the parts section. about $35 for a frame and that lense. they are great.
