Location: Walker, MN | Brindley's Harbor is centrally located and I get good feedback, along with Agency Bay Lodge. All of the south shore resorts are in really good striking distance, but just be aware that a strong north wind can really limit your travel. If just for a night or two, the Chase on the Lake is a decent spot. |

Location: Waite Park, MN | I stay at Spirit of the North regularly. Cabins are great, they have a couple apartment-like rooms upstairs in the lodge if you’re just going for a day or two. South side, nice harbor, quick access to lots of good spots. Great hosts, too. |
