Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | In my ever continuing saga to find out all your opinions, gear types, boats, trucks etc....the next question has to be: HOW MANY LURES DO YOU HAVE?
Of course some of us can just puruse the box, and get an accurate count (I'm personally at 80 after cleaning the box out for the swap meet in Chicago), but if you cant give an exact number, whats your approximate level of lure addiction? |

Location: Pewaukee, WI | I just finished my second year of Muskie hunting...so all you veteran Muskie anglers who have been purchasing lures for years and years this may not sound like alot, but I have just under 200. I didn't realize I had this many until I actually emptied the boat and counted... sworrall has that many retired lures hanging in his garage!!! |

| If you count bucktails, I'm just north of 900. Of course I make many of my own lures. |

Location: Davenport, IA | Not include bucktails (which are all home made) I have around 60 I think. I just sold a lot and if a lure doesn't suit me or doesn't catch fish its usually gone quickly. |

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Well last count was over 500 and I would have to guess somewhere between 650 and 700. Lets not get into the Lake Michigan thing or the walleye gear. What is too much ? I though it was never enough. Bring on the shows !!!
You know you got a problem when you buy two at a time in the same color. Or am I the only one who will do this when I find a good thing.
Maybe its a sickness. |

Location: DES MOINES, IOWA | I was kind of embarassed about it, but I guess it is okay to have 200 Musky lures, not counting my Musky see thru plastic bag that has all of my plastics.Do you ever go thru your top loader box, and discover some treasure, you don,t even remember buying? |

Location: Chicago, Beverly | Wow..Not sure I can count that high..lol... I know with just one brand of spinnerbait I have about 40-50 not including the bass sized ones that work just as good for Musky. Jointed Grammas I've got about 25. Cobbs cranks, like ten. I tend to buy in bulk when I hear its no longer gonna be made... Just Musky lures alone..200 would be a easy guess, Bass and Musky? gotta be hitting a thousand. I think part of the reason I bought my cottage was to store lures.... |

Location: Wales Wi. | My fishing partner and I are in a joint ownership of a collection that took us 30 years to gather..we needed to rent a storage unit to hold all of our tackle because we did not want to waste all the space in our garages. we have thousands and thousands of lures..it would take at least a week to even try to count them all. Last year I counted just our lake Michigan lures and it was over 1500, For the last fifteen years I have been focusing just on muskie lures, picking up 50 or so a year..funny I never take more than 20 or 30 when I go fishing...latest lure?.the Creepinstein..H.K. |

Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | 300 ish??? Maybe more?? Probably not less. Haven't been bored enough yet this winter to count, but I'm sure the time is coming.
Slamr, I tried to clean mine out for the swap meet last year but somehow, between the show and the swap, I brought home twice as many as I cleared out.

| 400+ with that number dropping as I weed-out things that are not seeing water! As I am a fisherman not a collector! |

| A few hundred hard baits, I make my own bucktails, so figure 100+ of them, some plastics.......no idea, but more than I use every year. |

Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | I guess I have about 250 hard baits, 150 bucktails and spinnerbaits, some relagated to garage wall duty others make it through the whole season. If I ever need to go shopping though I can go through my brother Steves garage and choose at will, right Steve?????? |
