| So far Santa has brought me a Garmin 240 with speed/temp. I didn't even ask for it. Kind of made me feel bad about the Camo pajamas I got the wife. They were a gag gift but jeez, a depthfinder, nothing like belittling a guy. |

| Mrs Claus bought me a Garmin GPS in October, so I wasn't expecting anything for Christmas, but she suprised me a little something that everybody that tinkers with lures should have.....a Dremel tool w/ all kinds of extras. Cant wait to get the wood and lead and other lure related things flying around in the basement.
Now we're off to Slamrs home state for a girls hockey tournament for the next 3 days.
It's really not what I got under the tree that matters. It's what I got sittin' on the couch with me. I am one lucky guy, fish or no fish.
Presents or no presents.

The wife got me a few muskie baits, Grinder, Power Probe, and 3 slammer crankbaits. Plus my other Creepinstein got here on Tuesday. Now I need that Lakewood. |

Location: Greenfield, WI | A few years ago I finally trained all my family to get me gift certificates from Cabela's, in any size or shape! They can last for ever, so that I can combine them to get really great stuff for both hunting & fishing!
Tomorrow, will be a meltdown on www.cabelas.com! |

Location: Athens, Ohio | A new Humminbird to replace my old one; looks like I can make this work on both boats now since I have two quick release mounts, just need another tranducer for the troller.
Anyone ever tried Storm's soft plastic swim baits for muskie? I got two of their 9 inch baits, the RBtrout looked so real I almost gutted and fried it.
I got my kids here for dinner and a call from mom, so it was a wonderful day. Hope y'all had the same. m |

I never get fishing things for gift giving occassions....SUCKS!!!! Did get the ultimate fishing rod for my birthday, but I need to get on the "training" of my family (saw that line in an above post) to get them to get in line with what i really want. |

| Well, I guess I wasnt as bad a boy as I thought last year. Mrs. Claus (aka: Mrs. Xllund, Mrs. G) got me an Aqua Vu MC2X! I couldnt belive it, I was completely surprised. Especially since when she asked me for a list of things that would light up my tree (so to speak) that was the only thing I could think of, probably because it was the only thing I really would have liked to receive for Christmas. I cant wait to use it! |
