Posted: Mon Dec 22, 2003 5:13 pm Post subject: Sad Loss for Canadian Musky Research -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ======================================================== Just thought I would pass this along after receiving permission from the ROM Dr Crossman passed away on the 21st of December 2003 On behalf of Muskies Canada,I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to the Crossman family and the Royal Ontario Museum. To many Dr Crossman was the icon in fresh water fisheries research. Marc Thorpe President Muskies Canada I recieved this message from Marc Thorpe last night. Dr.Ed Grossman was a living encyclopedia on musky reserch,he deticated a lifetime to fresh water reserch.Ed will be missed by many!Andy your in luck Ed is coming up to join you on the big pond above! Ed's many friends here on the Niagara River would like to offer condolences to the Crossman family and his co-workers at the Royal Ontario Museum. With Sympathy Capt. Larry D. Jones

What is the big deal?

I would think you would like everyone to know as much about him as possible. He sure was an extrodinary man. I would consider this posting as giving him and his wife respect, as they certainly deserve. Not to mention Larry gave you credit for writing it.
