OK, time to nail this thing down. I am still thinking of trying to get an outing set up for next weekend. I can fish the 26th and 27th. There was some interest last week, but who is seriously up for this trip? I need to decide quickly.

Extreme, Sanks, Kly, ToddM, Slamr, MikeHulbert, E, MarkH, PK, BuckeyesFan, Karen, 0723, Tuffy, Tuffy1, and ????? How about it? You up for an X-mas Muskie outing? How about having a gift exchange. Everybody bring a wrapped bait, and we'll exchange names, and celebrate the season. I'll bring the Bailey's and Venison Garlic Summer Sausage.

Stay at?

I am still thinking about it. The boat is winterized but thats not a big deal. My biggest issue is the walleye fishing on Pewaukee. First ice is awsome and I have too many spots to fish in a small window of opertunity. Given the days off I could take advantage of fishing more spots.

I will let the others make up my mind. If we can get a good crew to do this I will be up for it.

Lets get the ball rolling boys !!! Who's up for one more muskie adventure? I need to make my mind up soon so we can plan it.

Shep, I am picking up my kids next saturday for a week, otherwise I am in. We passed on going there today, wish I would have gone, last nights 25mph wind did subside.

I have to work now, but I hope you have a great time. I can't wait to hear how you do. I hope to fish Shelbyville and Kinkaid allot in the Fall and Winter once I have my own boat.

Well, just waiting to hear from Sunshine to confirm. Still trying to talk the Extreme One into going. E, did you find somebody with a boat to fish with? Shady, come down Friday, and fish Shelbey with us. Then Gregger can pick you up on the way down Saturday! KLY, I thought you were in for Shelby?! Luke and RH, good luck on Kincaid.

Well, hurry up and get it done! Drive to Pewaukee, and then go with the Extreme One! He needs an excuse to take his boat out of the garage! Gregger can drop you off on the way back north. Go right by Mike's house.

Kly, I got room. We can easily fish 3 in the boat. I'm trying to talk the Extreme One into going. He is being Luke Fencewalker on this. Seems he thinks he's gonna miss 4 or 5 darts on Pewaukee if he's not there. Was hoping he could bring Sanks with.

I wanna start a poll. Who thinks that the Extreme One should do Shelbyville?

Cool,
I will give greg a call and see if I can't work this out. I wont feel so bad if the shady one can drive with him, and I can meet up with them later.
p.s. I think the extremeone should go, that's my vote

It would be easier to leave from the cities and drive down 35 I think, but what to do with my boat?? hmmmm

I have plans to leave it at Hintz's now and pick it up on the way through in EC.

ok, checked out mapquest. It's the same route through Wis whether I leave from Rice Lake or Mineapolis.

So it looks like the road to carbondale intersects the road to Shelbyville south of Bloomington at 51 south and 74...OR......Hwy 55 and 74.

You guys kick Kly out of the truck somewhere in that area and Cady and I wil pick him up there.

Kly, it's 7 hrs from Minneapolis to Bloomington, add the BS at the airport after I land at 8 and picking up my boat at Hintz's in EauClaire.....I wouldnt expect to see Cady and I until..............5:00AM!!!

you might wanna ride a little further north with the Shelbyville gang, catch some z's and we'll pick ya up closer (and earlier) at the Wis border somewhere.

your call dude, gonna be a long boring nite for you waiting for us to get to Bloomington sat nite/sun morning.

Phishin, get your bro to go. He was talking about it last week. E, where is your boat? Anybody else gonna go and has some boat space? I left a message with Musky Fever, but have not heard from him. If we get no snow forcasted, I think the Extreme One will go. Who else will be there?

Less than 48 hours, and we'll be on the water. I'll have the radio on CH 69. Hoping to see you on the water, and hopefully share some success stories. Extreme One. You ARE going! No excuses. There are no eyes in Pee-Waukee. And no snow in the forcast. Get a hold on E, or Karen, Or??? and get down there with us! Leaving at 3:00 AM from my house.

Shepsters, I have not got skunked out of the shack yet. Remember I can't get to the good spots yet.

As far as Shelbeville? I still am undecided. My boat is as clean as it will ever get, winterized and full of hunting stuff. I don't know if is worth the hassle of releaning and rewinterizing it for 2 days od fishing.
Now if we had a good crew going it would be different.

The ice is firming up and I will get to my honey holes by Saturday. The wife is stewin about me going away, the kids want to go fishing with dad, and, well I could go on and on.....

Who is all in on thes outing?

Still trying to talk the Extreme One into making the trip. I think he is so close, he won't answer his phones! Mike, we're leaving at 3:00 AM, from my house. There's a couple guys looking to be boat sluts.

KLY, give me a call. I never put your number in the Lund phone. Even if Mike doesn't go, I will need to call you to find out where to pick you up exactly.

Will see you others on the water tomorrow morn. Ch 69 on the radio. Merry Christmas.

Good luck to all that is going. My wife and kids won the battle.

I am going to take them out ice fishing on Saturday night for some walleye action. The ice stiffened up enough for me to get to my hot spot.

Go get em boys..................
