THE CAVE

High water combined with cooler water temps have really turned on the muskies on the CAVE. As always under summer high waters baitfish and of course muskies head into feeder creeks, this is a great time to land a trophy. Muskies of 46,2-45's and many other fish from 32 to 43 inches have been taken in the past 2 days. Clients and I have boated a few fish and seen over 32 more in the past 20 hours. This hot pattern should continue as we keep getting more and more hard rains. For more info on the CAVE see our reports at www.kymuskkie.com []

Boy this is great, 80 degree and less water temps on the CAVE in late July. Muskies are going crazy, their up in the shallows as low as 2 feet. Great numbers and size, 52 1/4 caught by Justin Mullins, Crash's son this week. Lots of fish in the 40's and bigger fish are starting to show. The CAVE doesn't get much better than this.
