The axle on my trailer needs to be replaced. Its a 1992 681 Fisherman. Single axle. My dealer said its to old and Ranger themselves doesn't carry it. The place I got it at for repair said it needs to be custom made. They have located a company that can make the rectangle style it needs, but has not provided a timeline on when it will be made and has been very poor at communicating with the repair shop. Anyone have a suggestion on locating the correct axle? I've tried a few salvage yards but no luck. I've tried to call ranger but get nothing but put on hold, 40 minutes and counting. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Waymire Distribution might be worth a call.

Yep that might work. Made the call talked with Skip and it sounded like they could make it. Thanks for the advice.

They do good work, have had no issues with them.

Just noticed that you are in EC, could check with Stein Brothers Steel in Rice Lake and see if they could fix your old axle too.

Rigid Hitch in MN is an option to check with too.
