Hello all-
My minn Kota charger died, I am replacing with the Dual Pro. This is strictly for the cranking battery as my kicker doesn’t have an alternator and after a day on the water I like to charge the starting battery. This battery has all my electronics and normal boat electrical components hooked to it (LUND Explorer 1600).
I bought this 15 Amp charger and when I took it out of the box, I was surprised by the size of it. I have a call into Dual Pro but wanted to ask you guys....

Is this safe to hook up to my crank battery? I don’t want to potentially fry anything that’s also hooked up to the battery.

Thanks,
Rob

i put one on my cranking/electronics battery and like it. no problems. 1.5 years old. but just to be sure it has one set of leads going to the battery right? the dual pro usually has two leads for a 24 volt system (dual) . i have one of those set up on my 24 volt trolling motor batt's.
