Location: one foot over the line | Howdy all, if anyone out there gets bored and wanted to check out my rebuild album, I finally managed to get my project done. It only took 3 years, 600 hours of labor, 400 hours of research and development, some help from a few guys on this site. 1986 Tuffy Bass and Marauder complete renovation. 20 gallons of epoxy, 15 yards of fiberglass, 4 sheets of plywood, 30 rattle cans of paint, 2 quarts of interlux primekote, 3 quarts interlux brightsides, 4 sheets snow camo seadek, 100' of wire, 12 place fuse block, 8 place blueseas switchplate, volt meter, dual USB, cig lighter, ram mounts, quick release TM bracket, 12 blue LED's, port locker takes 5 nine foot rods, starboard locker takes 5 eight footers, 14.5 gallon gas tank under front deck extension, 8 rod/cup holders, set up for a 24 volt TM (currently running my 12 volt in parallel, will upgrade TM next year), auto bilge, I mounted a jackplate on her and had a local shop hang the 70 Yami on it ( now, before anyone jumps my rear-end about having too many ponies, I've owned and operated 20+ different boats, I have 40years experience in boats, I wouldn't recommend a rookie boater do it, however, I feel comfortable with my decision and having 30 hours in this seat, I have to say that this is a perfect motor for this hull). Anyway, in my defense of it having took 3 years to complete, I do not have a heated work space and epoxy needs a temp of 50 degrees, I also did a complete home renovation, I got married in my back yard, and I had another neck surgery. Sorry I got a little long winded there, thank you to all the guys that helped out on this (I hope you see this rambling). After year 2, I said that I will never do this again, now that this one is done I'm already looking at my next one to remodel...so, if you know of anyone wanting to get rid of an esox mag that is in tough shape, send them my way. Take care.
Oh yeah, I also have a custom 60" snow camo over blue seadek fish ruler on the port hatch lid.

Seadek, it's a closed cell EVA foam that I ordered in sheet form, made my templates and cut with a razor knife. The 60" Seadek fish ruler was a custom order piece, tho. | |
