I've fished 8 days there this year. It is tough. A south wind of 10 mph pretty much ruins your day. There is a lot of stuff to fish south of Oak island but the wind can easily cancel those areas. We picked up a couple but overall not the same experience as in past years. There are a lot of 40"+ pike to be found though.

Spots are getting hit all day long, I watched 5 boats basically trail each other sitting at my cabin Saturday evening.

we're heading there Friday for a week ,multi species fishing this year. We're making the boat trip from Baudette & staying at Flag. Ill report after the trip
