I have goodyear radial tires that are about 2 years old. I have a spare that is 6 months old. Can I roate tires(single axle)from left to right? I hear all kinds of things including tires belts get use rotating 1 way etc. What is your opinion ? Can I use the spare ? Thqanks, Roy

I used to work in a tire shop for over 5 years. So from experience, yes rotate them tires it will extend the life of your tires and keep them from chopping. If your spair is the same tire as whats on your trailer, i would rotate it into the mix as well.

I would say if you rotate them, remount them so they run the same direction.

Duck is correct. With radial tires you can rotate them from side to side and not worry about the same direction. You will extend tire life. It would be a good idea to get them balanced every other year.
