Location: Downers Grove, IL | I'm wondering what I can expect to pay to winterize and store a boat for the off-season. Do many dealers offer this service? I'm in Chicago area so I expect to pay more than, say, N. Wisconsin. Any idea of what I can expect to pay? Thanks.

Location: Minneapolis,Minnesota | I would guess $200+, Look towards southern Wisconsin for a cheaper rate.
I store mine in a farmers barn in southern Wisconsin for $50 for the season. |

Location: Minneapolis, MN | I live in the western burbs of chicago and pay a guy $120 who owns a few green houses to store my boat in his green house for the off season. There's a huge storage facility out in Rochele that I understand is very cheap.

Location: Chicago, Beverly | Bunch storage places out south also like in Alsip. Not sure what they charge. Some Boat shops offer storage in their yards also. Crest Marine and a few others do this I think. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Expect to pay as much as $200- $300 to store and winterize at a marina in a rack. If you shrink wrap the rig, it may be a little more. |

Location: oswego, il | I was paying 85 to 125 a month to store my boat at a storage facility indoors. Did not know a farmer with a barn or anything like that.

| I pay $600 for the winter. To my wife, because her car won't fit in the garage anymore with my boat in there. She buys me stuff, though. Sometimes, anyway. |

Location: oswego, il | Fishhateme, thanks for the info. We built a 30x40 garage last winter so we have our own storage facility now.;-):-) |

Location: Downers Grove, IL | Todd - Wow - that's a hell of a garage. Did you have to get a bigger rig to fill it out?!

Location: oswego, il | Fishhateme, no at one time we had my dad's boat, my boat, my brother's boat and my two suburbans in it. It's full. I sold my boat and a suburban but my brother put his enclosed trailer in it with a few other things, not getting much more in it. |
