We are preparing for a family vacation on Lake Vermilion, July 18 - 25. We will be staying at Everett bay Lodge.

One thing my boys find cool is going out to eat by boat. Any suggestions for boat-in restaurants (lunch or dinner)? Something open to the public with decent piers to dock.

We booked this long before all the Covid stuff happened. Multi-species trip.

Thanks!

The Landing far west end, and Wolf Bay lodge are the places I go. Landing is pretty expensive but good. Wolf bay is average price and a nice place with good burgers.

The casino serves good food. My recommendation would have been Daisy Bay Resort but for whatever reason is permanently closed. That's sad to hear.

The Vermilion Club has one small dock. Not much for parking a boat. Sometimes you have to wait for someone to leave before you can dock.

Is Bayview back open now? I saw last year they were putting in RV spots.

Life of Riley in Norweigan Bay has breakfast. Then go take the kids panfishing on the weeds right by there. There's a weed and reedbed to the east of the docks there they call the Nursery. Usually good for a hammerhadle or 2 to hkeep the kids happy

Did Moccasin Point ever open back up? Haven’t been to V in several years, think Moccasin Point. closed down around 2009 if I remember but it was a nice little stop for a burger back in the early/mid 2000’s.
