I haven't been having a good season at all so far. Only a handful of small fish, topping out at 36", and surprisingly few follows.

How has your season been going?

I went one day with my dad and a brother, I moved 5, 2 were good and I landed a different one at 46.5", my brother had two good follows.

Not bad. Opener was tough but I have 4 fish in my boat from 3 different lakes. 46 is biggest. I’m fishing less than I normally do.

MN waters are going to take a big hit, just not enough fish i'm afraid. That being said, it's been okay for my boat so far, I think the pressure July-October is going to be unprecedented.

5 in the boat thus far, but only 1 over 40. So action wise it's ok, but still looking to contact bigger fish on a consistent basis.

4 in the boat so far. We caught 3 opening morning with the biggest at 44". Lots of pressure on the water right now.

Got three right away first 3 days of season then nothing since. Have fished hard. Less follows and no follows. Have lost two. Seeing pictures everywhere people are catching them.

I just got my first follow of the year, almost blew it a the boat but the fish was forgiving and ate it anyway. Decent one maybe 42", but it come unhooked. Was thankful for the experience. Going to try the St. Croix, leaving now. There is a minor before dark.

Spend 3 days on Miltona and moved 6 but most were lazy. Had a solid fish go around twice on a figure 8.

Because of the Canada border closure or what?

dont live in MN anymore but came to see family that still lives up there. fished 5 evenings. had a handful of follows and managed to land a 50" and 51.5" fish within 24 hours of each other. first time breaking 50 and was lucky enough to boat 2 of them.

Haven't been out as much as I'd like. Boated my first of the season a couple weeks ago.... a whopping 23". Gonna hit it a little harder the next few weeks, however.

My season is starting to pick up. Have a 48" and a 42" this week along with 2 missed strikes on the cast, 2 missed strikes on the 8, and about 10 follows. Best action of the season. Getting strikes instead of follows, hotter follows, higher % of followers engaging on the 8, etc. I'd say it's about time!

Got a real biggun from shore on a metro lake last week on a firetiger topraider. My first of the year and first musky in about 13-14 years. Hand landed, no time to measure in the chaos, but looking at pic's and videos for reference I would put her around low 40's and really fat across the back. Fell down on the rocky shoreline after releasing her and busted my knees up BAD, but those scars will be great memories haha.
