I picked this up while trolling today. Little guy hit hard and came out of the water twice. I had 37" to go with this beast but mostly just got blown all over the lake. This may have been my last trip?? Looks like some real cold weather for the next week. I hope to make it to a show this year and maybe learn a few tricks. Its been great first year and I hope to do a little better in 04.

Looks like an 8" jake and a nice bass. I hope it does not get too cold, want a couple more weekends at least before I call it quits.

I hit Barbee again. Mostly to stay away from the crowd at Webster. The sucker bite has been good on Webster but its hard to find the suckers. Good luck,

Randy,

2 years ago my brother-in-law caught a 4 pounder on a Burt over the breakline. I hit him like a freight  train. The local bass club was having a tourney that night and we informed them we had the "pattern". They didn't laugh.......

Oh well! Some people just don't have a sense of humor.

Caught a 22" largemouth in Mohawksin on a 10" Suick in Sept two years ago. One of the hardest hits I ever had. I wish those things would grow to be 40".

My brother got a 5 lbs lrgmth on a musky spinnerbait(could double as a large bass spinnerbait) at Shelbyville one year. I had one the year before on a jointed Gramma that went about 4.5 lbs. Bass Tourney guys staying where we were couldn't believe the size of the gramma.. wanted to know if I had any spares..lol...My worst though was the 11" bass that hit a Smity Flaptail this summer...Bait was almost as long as the fish..
