Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | i liked the old sharp-nosed 8"er, got a few fish on it. The line is discontinued, and beware, the baits werent all that consistent. ie. I have one that runs like a champ, have had 4 that dont do jack.
Just my experiencessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.

| bought 2 8 " a long time ago and they both were brutal. The placement of the front eye seems odd. |

Location: Belgium | the 6" sharpnosed one, alas I only have two and one that works. From the current range of cobb's lures, I like the 6" roundnosed countdown and the 6" (yes, I measured it) crazy shad. |

Location: charleston wv | Jack Cobb is a friend of mine and the baits he is making now are very good and very consistent. Each bait is weighted to sink at a prescribed rate. You won't go wrong by getting some of them. |

Location: Red House WV | I really love both the 8"round nose & the sharp nose crazy glider. The round nose works a little deeper for me. But as msmith & other s mentioned since the past 3 years or so every bait runs GOOD! But before not all did. For the money they are affordable, big heavy duty tough tools for the job. |

Location: Belgium | esoxmaximas, the sharpnosed one is a floating, diving glider. It dives left and right when you twitch it or fish it with short pulls. It's not the shad glider (that's a crazy shad). the sharpnosed was made in the late nineties. |

Location: Red House WV | Thanks Divani for the correction. IS the line tie on the sharp nose on top about 1/2 inch above the point that forms the nose? I have a 6 inch one that I bought off Jack seems like it was around 1991 or so. I am trying to get it though my thick skull to learn to use my lightewr tackle for some of these lighter musky baits. I have got away from using smaller baits & feel like it is costing me fish. |

Location: Belgium | yes, that's the one. I'm still looking for some of those, without much luck though ... Great for our shallow waters ... Just use 6", subtle twitches or pulls of 5-6" long to make it dive and glide at the same time. It stays up really shallow but it has a great glide and wobble |

| If I had to get just one. I'd make it a 8" Countdown Crazy Shad.
Probably the most consistent runner that he makes in my opinion.
