Hey guys just wondering if anyone has purchased this rod or has used it before. I have another rod that I need to send in to get fixed but figured I might as well add to the collection so my friends and family can fish as well.

Just looking for pros and cons. Is it worth it.

I've used one for years up in Sitka, AK jigging for halibut. The rod loads up great with a fish on and handles jigs of 16-24 ounces with no problem. I don't cast with it so I can't comment on that aspect of it's use. It has handled halibut of 60+ pounds with no problem.

I feel like I would be able to pull a tree over with that thing. Thanks for the information. I am probably going to stick with the model under it but this one is on sale right now so I figured I would ask.

Just an extra FYI on the TI XXXH rod. It is SUPER stiff! Its an old style broom stick rod. If you want some action but still want to chuck 8oz up to ponders get the XXH. The XXH rods also all now have the new TI PRO blanks on them too! Lighter weight blanks but 20%+ stronger! Tested on Florida gators up to 750lbs in 2018 & 2019 as well as offshore testing. Thanks!!

Hello,
Been fishing with this rod model for the past 5 years.
This rod is very good for use as a dedicated 2 pounder rod. It is a very beefy stick and feels overpowered for anything smaller than 18-20 oz. If you plan on fishing smaller thant that regularly, buy something else.

I have one that I use primarily for jigging Bondy's or other large rubber and casting pounders. Yes, very stiff but needed for big rubber baits. I also have two of the XX models and have no trouble throwing baits all the way down to larger bass crankbaits. All of them have a Jigripper grip on them which helps immensely. The XXX is loaded with 100# PowerPro in a Daiwa Lexa 400 HD.
