| Long story short, I had an HDS 10 get water in the unit, resulted in a fried screen. There was work done on this unit prior to my purchasing which lead to it not being supported by Lowrance.
I’m a curious individual so I tore this thing apart. Fairly simple till you get to the actual lcd screen and then try separating from the glass.
what I need is help from somebody who knows lcd screens to ensure i get the right screen. I’ve scoured the web and can get very close to the model number but cannot find the exact one. The 10.4” screen seems to be used throughout the commercial/industrial machinery control world.
The part number is PD104SLI (LF). There are other numbers you can find in the image attached but this seems to be the one I need. There are connectors the need to be matched also. I’ve seen some of the similar screens available for around $100-$150. I’ll need a few other odds and ends but want to try to find the screen and reassemble the unit.
Any of you fellas (or ladies) know your way around LCD sourcing?
